Lawyer and Attorney, Will Mahler

Will Mahler is a Rochester, Minnesota native. He graduated from Mayo High School in 1968 before attending Macalester College in St. Paul, where he received a B.A. degree in Psychology in 1972. In 1975, Will received his Juris Doctorate degree from Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa. While attending law school, Will worked for the City Attorney’s Office in Des Moines, Iowa, the Iowa Attorney General’s Office and clerked for the Iowa Supreme Court. He received a high recommendation from Chief Justice C. Edward Moore for his work for the Court.

After earning his law degree in 1975, Will returned to his hometown of Rochester to practice law in this area. Will is married to Sarah, who is a Registered Nurse at St. Marys Hospital. He has two grown daughters and five grandchildren. Will is a lifelong member of Christ United Methodist Church and has served on its finance committee and foundation board. He also has served as a member of the Olmsted Historical Society and has been a sponsor of the Minnesota Special Olympics since 1990.

Will is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and is a member of Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, Olmsted County Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association and the Wisconsin State Bar Association. He is also admitted to practice in the Federal District Court in Minnesota. (will@mahlerlaw.net)

Maria Tyrrell

Maria Tyrrell - Maria has worked as a paralegal at the Will Mahler Law Firm since May 1998. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Trust Management from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina, and attended Winona State University to obtain her paralegal degree.

Maria specializes in farm-related cases. She has constant contact with farm clients and works closely with experts such as vets, nutritionists and agricultural economists. Everyone enjoys working with her, and are immediately impressed with her understanding of dairy issues. Over the years, Maria has developed an impressive expertise in analyzing farm records including DHIA, vet records, rations, feed tests and bank records.  She has provided invaluable assistance during several trials.
